Problem

Prove that the number of distinct conjugates of a subgroup HH of a finite group GG is [G:N(H)][G : N(H)]. Hint. Define a mapping between the right cosets of N(H)N(H) in GG and the conjugates of HH in GG by N(H)g↦g−1HgN(H)g \mapsto g^{-1}Hg. Prove that this map is a bijection.
