Problem

Consider the 2-surfaces defined by t=constantt = \text{constant} and r=r±r = r_{\pm} in the Kerr geometry. Show that, for each surface, the circumference around the 'poles' is less than the circumference around the equator. Show that the same is true for the 2-surfaces defined by t=constantt = \text{constant} and r=rS±r = r_{S\pm}.
