Problem
If V is the vector space of n×n matrices over F and B is a fixed n×n matrix over F, let LB and RB be the linear operators on V defined by LB(A)=BA and RB(A)=AB. Show that
((a)) detLB=(detB)n;
((b)) detRB=(detB)n.
