Problem

Suppose VV is finite-dimensional, UU is a subspace of VV, and S∈L(U,V)S \in \mathcal{L}(U, V). Prove that there exists an invertible linear map TT from VV to itself such that Tu=SuTu = Su for every u∈Uu \in U if and only if SS is injective.
