Problem

A ball is projected with velocity 40 m/s40\,\text{m/s} at an angle of 60∘60^{\circ}. A boy sitting at the launch point waits for 1.4 s1.4\,\text{s} after the launch and then runs to catch the ball at the landing point. Calculate the constant speed at which he must run. (Take g=10 m/s2g = 10\,\text{m/s}^{2}, 3≈1.732\sqrt{3} \approx 1.732)
