Problem

An antenna consists of a circular loop of wire of radius aa located in the xx-yy plane with its center at the origin. The current in the wire is I=I0cos⁡ωt=Re I0e−iωtI = I_0 \cos\omega t = \text{Re}\, I_0 e^{-i\omega t} (a) Find the expressions for E\mathbf{E}, H\mathbf{H} in the radiation zone without approximations as to the magnitude of kaka. Determine the power radiated per unit solid angle. (b) What is the lowest nonvanishing multipole moment (Ql,mQ_{l,m} or Ml,mM_{l,m})? Evaluate this moment in the limit ka≪1ka \ll 1.
