Define h(x)=x2−1xh(x)=\dfrac{x^{2}-1}{x} for x≠0x\ne 0. a. (i) Derive an expression for h′(x)h'(x) and simplify it as far as possible. b. (ii) Determine all real numbers x≠0x\ne 0 for which h′(x)=0h'(x)=0. c. (iii) Using the sign of h′(x)h'(x), state whether hh is increasing or decreasing on the intervals (−∞,−1)(-\infty,-1), (−1,0)(-1,0), (0,1)(0,1) and (1,∞)(1,\infty).
