Problem

Evaluate the following commutators: (a) [L⋅S,L][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, \mathbf{L}], (b) [L⋅S,S][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, \mathbf{S}], (c) [L⋅S,J][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, \mathbf{J}], (d) [L⋅S,L2][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, L^2], (e) [L⋅S,S2][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, S^2], (f) [L⋅S,J2][\mathbf{L} \cdot \mathbf{S}, J^2]. Hint: L\mathbf{L} and S\mathbf{S} satisfy the fundamental commutation relations for angular momentum (Equations 4.99 and 4.134), but they commute with each other.
