Problem

A boat can travel at vb=5 m/sv_{b} = 5\,\text{m/s} in still water. It attempts to cross a river flowing at vr=10 m/sv_{r} = 10\,\text{m/s}. Since the river flows faster than the boat, it is impossible to reach the point directly opposite. Find the angle the boat must head upstream (relative to the normal) to minimize the drift distance downstream.
