Problem

Let VV be the space C2C^2, with the standard inner product. Let TT be the linear operator defined by Tϵ1=(1,−2)T\epsilon_1 = (1, -2), Tϵ2=(i,−1)T\epsilon_2 = (i, -1). If α=(x1,x2)\alpha = (x_1, x_2), find T∗αT^*\alpha.
