Problem

A particle PP of mass 4 kg moves under the action of the force F=4i+12t2j\boldsymbol{F} = 4\boldsymbol{i} + 12t^2\boldsymbol{j} N, where tt is the time in seconds. The initial velocity of the particle is 2i+j+2k2\boldsymbol{i} + \boldsymbol{j} + 2\boldsymbol{k} m s−1^{-1}. Find the work done by F\boldsymbol{F}, and the increase in kinetic energy of PP, during the time interval 0≤t≤10 \leq t \leq 1. What principle does this illustrate?
