Problem

Let fn:[0,1]→Rf_n : [0, 1] \to \mathbb{R} be a sequence of increasing functions (that is, fn(x)≥fn(y)f_n(x) \geq f_n(y) whenever x≥yx \geq y). Suppose fn(0)=0f_n(0) = 0 and lim⁡n→∞fn(1)=0\lim_{n \to \infty} f_n(1) = 0. Show that {fn}n=1∞\{f_n\}_{n=1}^\infty converges uniformly to 00.
