Problem

Using the Bohr model, calculate (a) the radius of the n=3n=3 orbit of hydrogen, (b) the energy of this level, and (c) the wavelength of the photon emitted in the n=3→n=2n=3 \to n=2 transition (the H-alpha line). Use a0=0.0529  nma_0 = 0.0529\;\text{nm}, E1=−13.6  eVE_1 = -13.6\;\text{eV}, hc=1240  eV⋅nmhc = 1240\;\text{eV}\cdot\text{nm}.
