Problem

Support function. The support function of a set C⊆RnC \subseteq \mathbf{R}^n is defined as SC(y)=sup⁡{yTx∣x∈C}.S_C(y) = \sup\{y^T x \mid x \in C\}. (We allow SC(y)S_C(y) to take on the value +∞+\infty.) Suppose that CC and DD are closed convex sets in Rn\mathbf{R}^n. Show that C=DC = D if and only if their support functions are equal.
