Problem

Let XX be CP2\mathbb{C}P^2 with a cell e3e^3 attached by a map S2→CP1⊂CP2S^2 \to \mathbb{C}P^1 \subset \mathbb{C}P^2 of degree pp, and let Y=M(Zp,2)∨S4Y = M(\mathbb{Z}_p, 2) \vee S^4. Thus XX and YY have the same 33-skeleton but differ in the way their 44-cells are attached. Show that XX and YY have isomorphic cohomology rings with Z\mathbb{Z} coefficients but not with Zp\mathbb{Z}_p coefficients.
