Problem

Using Eqs. (8.9) and (8.13), express the effect of damping on the frequency of a series RLCRLC circuit, by writing ω\omega in terms of QQ and ω0=1/LC\omega_0 = 1/\sqrt{LC}. Suppose enough resistance is added to bring QQ from ∞\infty down to 1000. By what percentage is the frequency ω\omega thereby shifted from ω0\omega_0? How about if QQ is brought from ∞\infty down to 5?
