Problem

Let GG be a group and g∈Gg \in G. Define a map ig:G→Gi_g : G \to G by ig(x)=gxg−1i_g(x) = gxg^{-1}. Prove that igi_g defines an automorphism of GG. Such an automorphism is called an inner automorphism. The set of all inner automorphisms is denoted by Inn(G)\text{Inn}(G).
