Problem

When light of wavelength 4000 A˚4000 \text{ \AA} is incident on a barium emitter, emitted photo electrons in a transverse magnetic field strength B=5.2×10−6 TB = 5.2 \times 10^{-6} \text{ T} moves in a circular path. Find the radius of the circle. Given work function of barium is 2.5 eV2.5 \text{ eV} and mass of electron is 9.1×10−31 kg9.1 \times 10^{-31} \text{ kg}, e=1.6×10−19 Ce = 1.6 \times 10^{-19} \text{ C}, h=6.6×10−34 J sh = 6.6 \times 10^{-34} \text{ J s}.
