Problem

An aircraft flies at a constant altitude. At t=0t=0, the angle of elevation from a ground station is 30∘30^{\circ}. After flying 2 km2\,\text{km} directly away from the station (horizontally), the angle of elevation changes to 15∘15^{\circ}. Find the altitude of the aircraft using the difference of cotangents formula.
