Problem

Suppose (a1,a2,…,a52)(a_1, a_2, \ldots, a_{52}) are integers, not necessarily distinct. Show that there are two, aia_i and aja_j with i≠ji \neq j, such that either ai+aja_i + a_j or ai−aja_i - a_j is divisible by 100. Show that this is not necessarily true for integers (a1,a2,…,a51)(a_1, a_2, \ldots, a_{51}).
