Problem

Suppose TT is a bounded operator on a Hilbert space VV. (a) Prove that TT is invertible if and only if TT has a unique left inverse. In other words, prove that TT is invertible if and only if there exists a unique S∈B(V)S \in \mathcal{B}(V) such that ST=IST = I. (b) Prove that TT is invertible if and only if TT has a unique right inverse. In other words, prove that TT is invertible if and only if there exists a unique S∈B(V)S \in \mathcal{B}(V) such that TS=ITS = I.
