Problem

Derive an equation giving the form of sound rays propagated in a steadily moving medium with a velocity distribution u(x,y,z)\mathbf{u}(x, y, z), when u≪cu \ll c everywhere. It is assumed that the velocity u\mathbf{u} varies appreciably only over distances large compared with the wavelength of the sound.
