Problem

(a) Show that γ0γν†γ0=γν\gamma^0\gamma^{\nu\dagger}\gamma^0 = \gamma^\nu, for ν=0,1,2\nu = 0, 1, 2, or 33. (b) If Γ\Gamma is any product of γ\gamma matrices (Γ=γaγb⋯γc\Gamma = \gamma_a\gamma_b\cdots\gamma_c) show that Γˉ\bar{\Gamma} [eq. (7.117)] is the same product in reverse order, Γˉ=γc⋯γbγa\bar{\Gamma} = \gamma_c\cdots\gamma_b\gamma_a.
