Problem

A skier leaves a ski jump ramp horizontally with a velocity of u=25 m/su = 25\,\text{m/s}. The landing slope below the ramp is inclined at an angle of θ=45∘\theta = 45^{\circ} to the horizontal. Calculate the distance along the slope from the takeoff point to where the skier lands. Neglect air resistance. (Take g=10 m/s2g = 10\,\text{m/s}^{2})
