Problem

Consider the physical quantities mm, ss, vv, aa, and tt with dimensions [m]=M[m] = M, [s]=L[s] = L, [v]=LT−1[v] = LT^{-1}, [a]=LT−2[a] = LT^{-2}, and [t]=T[t] = T. Assuming each of the following equations is dimensionally consistent, find the dimension of the quantity on the left-hand side of the equation: (a) F=maF = ma; (b) K=0.5mv2K = 0.5mv^2; (c) p=mvp = mv; (d) W=masW = mas; (e) L=mvrL = mvr.
