(a) Define radius of gyration of a rigid body about a specified axis.
(b) For a uniform thin rod of length L, write the standard values of the radius of gyration about
(i) an axis through its centre and perpendicular to the rod,
(ii) an axis through one end and perpendicular to the rod.
(c) Show algebraically that the value obtained in part (ii) is exactly twice the value obtained in part (i).
