0.5 g mixture of

\text{K}_2\text{Cr}_2\text{O}_7

and

\text{KMnO}_4

was treated with excess of KI in acidic medium. Iodine liberated required 100 cm³ of 0.15N sodium thiosulphate solution for titration. Find the mass per cent of each in the mixture.
