Problem

Find the angle of rotation α=Arg⁡(f′(z))\alpha = \operatorname{Arg}(f'(z)) and the scale factor ∣f′(z)∣|f'(z)| of the mapping w=f(z)w = f(z) at the indicated points. (a) w=1zw = \dfrac{1}{z} at the points 11, 1+i1+i, and ii. (b) w=ln⁡r+iθw = \ln r + i\theta, where −π<θ≤π-\pi < \theta \leq \pi, at the points 11, 1+i1+i, ii, and −1-1. (c) w=r12cos⁡θ2+ir12sin⁡θ2w = r^{\frac{1}{2}}\cos\dfrac{\theta}{2} + ir^{\frac{1}{2}}\sin\dfrac{\theta}{2}, where −π<θ<π-\pi < \theta < \pi, at the points ii, 11, −i-i, and 3+4i3+4i. (d) w=sin⁡zw = \sin z at the points π2+i\dfrac{\pi}{2}+i, 00, and −π2+i-\dfrac{\pi}{2}+i.
