Problem

Suppose that f:R→Rf : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R} be a function such that for every sequence {xn}n=1∞\{x_n\}_{n=1}^\infty in R\mathbb{R}, the sequence {f(xn)}n=1∞\bigl\{f(x_n)\bigr\}_{n=1}^\infty converges. Prove that ff is constant, that is, f(x)=f(y)f(x) = f(y) for all x,y∈Rx, y \in \mathbb{R}.
