Problem

A magnetic dipole m(t)=m0cos⁡(ωt) z^\mathbf{m}(t) = m_0 \cos(\omega t)\, \hat{z} oscillates at frequency ω\omega. (a) Find the fields E\mathbf{E} and B\mathbf{B} in the radiation zone. (b) Find the time-averaged power radiated per unit solid angle, dP/dΩdP/d\Omega. (c) Find the total radiated power.
