Problem

Let XX be a Banach space. Prove that ∥AB∥≤∥A∥∥B∥\|AB\| \leq \|A\|\|B\|, for every A,B∈L(X,X)A, B \in \mathcal{L}(X, X). (Therefore, L(X,X)\mathcal{L}(X, X) is an algebra.)
