Problem

An amusement park ride consists of a rotating central vertical pole. A seat of mass 60 kg60\,\text{kg} is connected to the top of the pole by a 5 m5\,\text{m} long cable. When the ride spins at a constant rate, the cable makes a constant angle of 37∘37^{\circ} with the vertical. Calculate the tension in the cable and the linear speed of the seat. (sin⁡37∘=0.6\sin 37^{\circ} = 0.6, cos⁡37∘=0.8\cos 37^{\circ} = 0.8)
