Problem

Read the following statements about circular motion and answer the questions that follow: a. Statement A: "The distance measured along the path from the starting point to the present position of the particle."\nStatement B: "The angle swept at the centre can exceed 2π2\pi for multiple revolutions."\nStatement C: "The quantity is naturally expressed in degrees or radians."\nStatement D: "Its dimension is that of length." \nClassify each statement as belonging to (a) arc length ss or (b) angular displacement θ\theta. Justify each classification in one sentence. b. For a circle of radius 0.25 m0.25\,\text{m}, an arc length of 0.50 m0.50\,\text{m} is traced out. Calculate the corresponding angular displacement and state its unit. c. Convert the angular displacement obtained in part (ii) into degrees, showing each conversion step clearly.
