Problem

a. What is the radius of the orbit of a satellite lying in the equatorial plane, if it is always at the zenith above the same point on the earth’s surface? b. Describe the satellite’s path qualitatively if, for the same orbit radius, its plane forms an angle of 60◦ with the plane of the equator. (A satellite path is a line that connects points on Earth from which the satellite is visible at its zenith.)
