Problem

Let s(x)=kx2+(k−3)x+2s(x)=k x^{2}+(k-3)x+2, where kk is a real number. (i) If x=1x=1 is a zero of s(x)s(x), determine the possible value(s) of kk. (ii) For each value of kk obtained in part (i), find the second zero of s(x)s(x). (iii) Write s(x)s(x) in its factorised form for every admissible value of kk.
