Problem

A ball is thrown vertically upward from ground level with a speed of 25 m/s at the same instant that another ball is dropped from rest from a balcony 30 m above the ground. Taking upward as positive and g=9.8 m/s2g = 9.8\,\text{m/s}^2, determine the height above the ground at which the two balls pass each other.
