Problem

The drag force (air resistance) of an object moving with velocity v having the cross section A perpendicular to the velocity depends only on A, v, air density ρ and a dimensionless constant C describing the shape of an object. C is close to 0.5 for a sphere. Which graph below best describes the dependence of the drag force on the velocity for the 10 cm diameter ball? [Figure: Four graphs showing different relationships between drag force and velocity - linear, quadratic, square root, and inverse relationships]
