Problem

Suppose (X,S)(X, \mathcal{S}) is a measurable space and f1,f2,…f_1, f_2, \ldots is a sequence of S\mathcal{S}-measurable functions from XX to C\mathbf{C}. Suppose lim⁡k→∞fk(x)\lim_{k \to \infty} f_k(x) exists for each x∈Xx \in X. Define f:X→Cf : X \to \mathbf{C} by f(x)=lim⁡k→∞fk(x).f(x) = \lim_{k \to \infty} f_k(x). Prove that ff is an S\mathcal{S}-measurable function.
