Problem

Let A\mathbf{A} be a vector from the origin to a point PP fixed in space. Let r\mathbf{r} be a vector from the origin to a variable point Q(x1,x2,x3)Q(x_1, x_2, x_3). Show that A⋅r=A2\mathbf{A} \cdot \mathbf{r} = A^2 is the equation of a plane perpendicular to A\mathbf{A} and passing through the point PP.
