Problem

Suppose A⊆RA \subseteq \mathbf{R}. Prove that AA is Lebesgue measurable if and only if ∣(−n,n)∩A∣+∣(−n,n)∖A∣=2n|(-n,n) \cap A| + |(-n,n) \setminus A| = 2n for every n∈Z+n \in \mathbf{Z}^+.
