Problem

A function is defined by g(x)=ksin⁡(mx)g(x)=k\sin(mx), where kk and mm are non-zero real constants. a. (i) Obtain a simplified formula for g′(x)g'(x) in terms of kk, mm and xx. b. (ii) Using the result of part (i), find g′(x)g'(x) when k=3k=3 and m=πm=\pi, and hence compute g′ ⁣(π6)g'\!\left(\dfrac{\pi}{6}\right).},{ c. (iii) Comment on how the constants kk and mm influence the amplitude and frequency of the derivative function compared with the original function.
