Problem

Let (X,dX)(X,d_X) and (Y,dY)(Y,d_Y) be metric spaces, S⊂XS \subset X, p∈Xp \in X a cluster point of SS, and let f:S→Yf: S \to Y be a function. Prove that f:S→Yf: S \to Y is continuous at pp if and only if lim⁡x→pf(x)=f(p).\lim_{x \to p} f(x) = f(p).
