Problem

Let TT be a linear operator on R3R^3 which is represented in the standard ordered basis by the matrix [6−3−24−1−210−5−3].\begin{bmatrix} 6 & -3 & -2 \\ 4 & -1 & -2 \\ 10 & -5 & -3 \end{bmatrix}. Express the minimal polynomial pp for TT in the form p=p1p2p = p_1p_2, where p1p_1 and p2p_2 are monic and irreducible over the field of real numbers. Let WiW_i be the null space of pi(T)p_i(T). Find bases Bi\mathfrak{B}_i for the spaces W1W_1 and W2W_2. If TiT_i is the operator induced on WiW_i by TT, find the matrix of TiT_i in the basis Bi\mathfrak{B}_i (above).
