Problem

Suppose VV is finite-dimensional and T∈L(V)T \in \mathcal{L}(V). Prove that the following are equivalent. ((a)) V=null⁡T⊕range⁡TV = \operatorname{null} T \oplus \operatorname{range} T. ((b)) V=null⁡T+range⁡TV = \operatorname{null} T + \operatorname{range} T. ((c)) null⁡T∩range⁡T={0}\operatorname{null} T \cap \operatorname{range} T = \{0\}.
