Problem

Consider a short-circuited two-conductor copper wire. At one end of the wire, a resistance of R=65.3R = 65.3 mΩ was measured using an ohmmeter. What is the distance (along the wire) to the short-circuited section of the wire from the end where the measurement was performed? The resistivity of copper is ρ=1.71⋅10−8\rho = 1.71 \cdot 10^{-8} Ω·m, the cross-sectional diameter of one conductor is d=1.50d = 1.50 mm.
