Consider the linear polynomial y=ax+by = ax + b, where a≠0a \neq 0. a. (i) Define the xx-intercept and yy-intercept of the graph of a linear polynomial. b. (ii) Show that the xx-intercept of the line y=ax+by = ax + b is (−ba, 0)\left(-\dfrac{b}{a},\,0\right). c. (iii) For the specific line y=−2x+5y = -2x + 5, find its xx-intercept and yy-intercept. Sketch a neat graph of the line on graph paper, clearly marking the intercepts. d. (iv) Explain why the graph of any non-vertical straight line has exactly one real zero.
