Problem

Two charges +q+q and −q-q are separated by a distance d(t)=d0cos⁡(ωt)d(t) = d_0 \cos(\omega t) (an oscillating dipole). (a) What is the dipole moment as a function of time? (b) What is the total power radiated? (c) If q=1.6×10−19q = 1.6\times 10^{-19} C, d0=10−10d_0 = 10^{-10} m, and ω=1015\omega = 10^{15} rad/s, evaluate the power numerically.
