Problem

Let n≥2n \geq 2 be an integer. Let GG be a simple graph with nn vertices. (a) Describe GG if the degrees of the vertices of GG are 1,1,…,1,n−11, 1, \ldots, 1, n-1. (b) Let aa and bb be two positive integers such that a+b=na + b = n. Describe GG if the degrees of the vertices of GG are 1,1,…,1,a,b1, 1, \ldots, 1, a, b. Here, to ``describe'' GG means to explicitly determine (with proof) a graph that is isomorphic to GG.
