An ideal gas is taken through a cyclic thermodynamic process through four steps. The amounts of heat involved in these steps are Q1=5960 JQ_1 = 5960 \text{ J} , Q2=−5585 JQ_2 = -5585 \text{ J} , Q3=−2980 JQ_3 = -2980 \text{ J} and Q4=3645 JQ_4 = 3645 \text{ J} respectively. The corresponding quantities of work involved are W1=2200 JW_1 = 2200 \text{ J} , W2=−825 JW_2 = -825 \text{ J} , W3=−1100 JW_3 = -1100 \text{ J} and W4W_4 respectively. (JEE 1994) (a) Find the value of W4W_4 . (b) What is the efficiency of the cycle?
