Problem

Show that H\mathscr{H} corresponding to L\mathscr{L} in Eq. (2.3.6) is H=∣pCM∣2/2M+∣p∣2/2μ+V(r)\mathscr{H} = |\mathbf{p}_{\text{CM}}|^2/2M + |\mathbf{p}|^2/2\mu + V(\mathbf{r}), where MM is the total mass, μ\mu is the reduced mass, pCM\mathbf{p}_{\text{CM}} and p\mathbf{p} are the momenta conjugate to rCM\mathbf{r}_{\text{CM}} and r\mathbf{r}, respectively.
